The Parts Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customers service technicians and other dealership locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver parts to customers wholesale accounts service departments and other locations as directed.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the dealerships delivery vehicle.
- Keep delivery logs and obtain customer signatures to confirm receipt of parts.
- Assist in stocking and organizing the parts department when not on deliveries.
- Follow all dealership policies safety procedures and traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any delivery related inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts orders.
