Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE primary curriculum
Develop students listening speaking reading and writing skills through structured and interactive activities
Foster reading habits storytelling and creative expression among students
Use phonics vocabulary-building and grammar strategies appropriate to primary learners
Design and implement formative and summative assessments as per board guidelines
Create a safe inclusive and language-rich classroom environment
Use stories poems role-play and visual aids to enhance language learning
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse language needs of students
Collaborate with grade-level teams and academic coordinators
Maintain accurate lesson plans assessments and student records
Communicate effectively with parents and the school community regarding student progress
Uphold child safeguarding academic integrity and professional ethics

Minimum five years of total teaching experience compulsory
Minimum two years of experience teaching English at the primary level in a CBSEor equivalent school preferred

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education degree mandatory
Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in English Education or a related discipline
Board-related training English pedagogy workshops or professional development certifications preferred
