The role involves delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 6 to 10 with a strong focus on conceptual clarity logical reasoning problem-solving skills and exam readiness.
The teacher is expected to inculcate a love for Mathematics build student confidence and eliminate fear or anxiety towards the subject through engaging activity-based and concept-driven teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured Mathematics lessons for Grades 6 to 10 as per the CBSE curriculum
Ensure strong conceptual understanding and application of mathematical concepts
Encourage interest confidence and a positive attitude towards Mathematics
Identify learning gaps and address Math anxiety through differentiated teaching
Prepare students for school assessments and board examinations
Design and implement formative and summative assessments
Maintain awareness of board exam paper patterns marking schemes and assessment criteria
Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and assessment guidelines
Use teaching aids real-life examples technology and manipulatives to enhance learning
Maintain proper lesson plans assessment records and academic documentation
Collaborate with department members and academic coordinators
Communicate effectively with parents and the school community
Uphold child safeguarding academic integrity and professional ethics

Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience compulsory
Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics in Grades 6 to 8
Experience teaching Mathematics up to Grade 10
Preferred (not compulsory): Board exam examiner or evaluator experience
