Systems Engineer I

As a Systems Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT) you will play a critical role in the design implementation and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation safety and efficiency across various industries. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in systems engineering project management and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry this role you will have a significant impact on shaping the future of our technological advancements and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects.

You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Torrance CA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the development of cutting-edge systems that power innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the design and architectural aspects of complex systems which may involve hardware software and network components. You will ensure that the system design aligns with Honeywells quality standards and industry best practices. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends that you will apply to address complex engineering challenges and provide solutions that meet or exceed the required technical standards for your customers.

• Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities aligning them with the companys goals and objectives
  Systems integration and architecture development
• Effective coordination and communication with:
  • Multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Systems engineering teams

• Technical leadership and oversight of:
  • Control system integration

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in systems engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision

The annual base salary range for this position is $69900- $87450. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
