We are looking for Assemblers to join our Greenwood IN facility on 1st 2nd -or- 3rd shift. You will assemble and inspect products prior to delivery.

What Youll Do:

Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures standards and blueprint production
Fastens parts together with bolts screws speed clips rivets or other fasteners
Disassembles re-works or salvages scrap parts
Operates drill presses hand drills clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
May operate forklift upon completing certification requirements
Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; Removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish
Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets damaged brackets incorrect artwork screw gauges etc.

What Youll Need:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 months related experience and/or training
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form
Mathematical skills to manage units of measure fractions decimals whole numbers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formed
Ability to set-up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
