The Coordinator Operations (12 Month Contract) plays a key role in supporting end-to-end inbound and distribution centre operations. This includes directing and coordinating vendor partners with approved logistics providers validating that all shipment documentation aligns precisely with Holt Renfrew purchase orders and maintaining full network visibility across inbound shipments. Acting as a central point of coordination between vendors third-party partners and internal distribution teams this role ensures inventory flows efficiently accurately and in alignment with business priorities while providing flexible operational support across warehouse and ecommerce fulfillment functions as required.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Serve as a point of contact for vendor partners freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers
Coordinating inbound shipments and vendor appointments to Holt Renfrew Distribution Centre or Stores to support speed-to-market objectives
Generate and maintain reporting to provide network visibility over inbound shipments vendor compliance and operational performance
Purchase Order Management:
Validate purchase orders against vendor packing slips commercial invoices and shipping documentation
Review and resolve shipment exceptions before they impact operations
Validate vendor documentation against company and CBSA requirements
Provide shipping and routing instructions and monitor vendor compliance
Support day-to-day DC and Ecommerce operations through communication priority setting issue triage and operational reporting
Assist with inventory movements discrepancy resolution counts and return-to-vendor shipments
Support order fulfillment SLA performance and collateral inventory management
Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on an ongoing basis
Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes and performance
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers vendor partners buying community freight forwarder/couriers warehouse
Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate:
Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
1-2 years of post-university work experience
Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Supply Chain/Logistics or Business qualification is desirable.
Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
Team player that works well under pressure
Strong interpersonal and social skills and awareness across cultural boundaries
Proven analytical skills
Pay Range: $50000 to $600000
