What Youll Do:
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department operations including inventory management staff supervision and customer service. This role ensures the efficient and profitable operation of the parts department.
- Manage parts inventory and ordering processes.
- Supervise and train parts department staff.
- Develop and implement parts sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Promote additional parts and accessories.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Keys to success:
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in automotive parts management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree prefer
