Are you a skilled beauty therapy practitioner who enjoys helping others understand the why behind what they do Were looking for empathetic adaptable tutors to provide personalised 1:1 support with the theory elements of Level 2 Beauty Therapy working with learners who benefit from a calmer more individual approach to learning. This role focuses on underpinning knowledge such as health and safety anatomy and physiology consultation skills and professional standards and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by building confidence understanding and independence outside of a traditional classroom setting.

What Youll Do

• Deliver structured 1:1 tuition covering Beauty Therapy theory including health & safety anatomy and physiology skin analysis consultation processes and contraindications.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning profiles using clear language visual supports and repetition where appropriate.
• Pre-teach key concepts and vocabulary to support learner confidence and reduce anxiety when accessing their main course.
• Support learners to understand assessment language and expectations (e.g. identify describe explain).
• Create predictable calm session structures to support engagement and emotional regulation.
• Track learner progress and complete brief session reports after each session.
• Communicate effectively with Tutors Green programme staff to adjust support approaches as needed.
  

Were looking for someone who has:

• Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification or higher or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of Beauty Therapy theory
• 2 years experience supporting learners or trainees through tutoring teaching mentoring or workplace training.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs (ASC anxiety communication difficulties).
• Ability to break down complex or abstract theory into accessible learner-friendly explanations.
• Patient calm and flexible approach to teaching.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and professional boundaries.
• The right to be self employed in the UK.
