About the Community:

This location creates a sense of place and a sense of community you will not find anywhere else in the area. The homes are as beautiful and unique as the natural environment surrounding them with traditional architecture winding sidewalks charming streetscapes and elegant landscaping which complements the environment instead of competing with it. Porters perform a wide range of cleaning tasks on property. They keep all community common areas in pristine condition ready to welcome homeowners and guests.

What youll accomplish:

Assisting the maintenance team with small projects
Changing lightbulbs and other miscellaneous tasks as directed
Mopping floors hosing walkways and sweeping
Maintaining and emptying garbage bins
Performing a wide array of janitorial duties
Extending top-notch service to residents and guests

What were looking for:

High school diploma
Janitorial experience
Energy a great attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent customer service skills attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Effective communication skills
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
Must have a valid drivers license and current vehicle liability insurance
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

The physical requirements can vary but generally they may include:

Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology including computers and mobile devices.
Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
