Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas including hallways guest room carpet elevators stairwells and back-of-house areas.
- Collect and remove trash and recyclables from hotel hallways guest rooms and service closets.
- Replenish supplies in housekeeping closets
- Assist housekeeping by delivering linen amenities or supplies to guest floors.
- Operate floor care equipment such as vacuum cleaners floor scrubbers and carpet extractors.
- Report maintenance issues safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the manager or supervisor.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the housekeeping leadership team.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial janitorial or hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
