Job requirements
- TheNestJSBackend Architectis responsible fordefining and governing backend architecture forNestJS-driven API platform ensuring scalability security performance and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. The role works closely with Tech Leads frontend architects integration teams and clients to translate business and platform requirements into robust future-ready backend solutions.
- Expert-level JavaScript ( runtime)
- Deep architecturalexpertisein theNestJSframework
- Advancedproficiencyin TypeScript
- Provenexperience designing large-scale API-first backend architectures
- StrongexpertiseinRESTful API design patterns versioning and governance
- Strong hands-on and design experience withMongoDB(data modeling indexing performance tuning)
- Experiencedefining unit testing integration testing and quality standards
- Experiencedefining and governing API documentationstandards (Swagger /Open API)
- Strong understanding of backendNFRs likeperformance security scalability and resilience patterns
- Experiencedesigning BFF microservices or modular monolith architecture
- ProvideArchitectural oversight ofNextJSintegration ensuringNestJSAPIs andNextJScomponents are aligned and function cohesively.
- Ownership of backend architecturaldecisions and technical direction
- Experienceworking closely with enterprise and solution architects
- Ability toguide and mentor Tech Leads and senior engineers
- Strong experience inclient-facing architectural discussions
- Ability to translate business platform and non-functionalrequirements into technical architecture
- Experience drivingarchitecture reviews design governance and technical standards
- Strongstakeholder management collaboration and communication skills
- Strong understanding of frontend architectures (React / Angular) andAPI consumption patterns
- Experience working in agile / scaled agile delivery models
- Experience designingintegration architectureswith external and internal systems
- Exposure tocloud-native architectures(AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD DevOps andplatform engineering concepts
- Exposure tocaching messaging and event-drivenarchitecture
- Awareness of security standards and compliance (OAuth OWASP enterprise security models)
