Health Unit Assistant

Shift: Weekend Package: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Friday Saturday and Sunday for 72 hours per pay period. You will work 4 consecutive weekends in a row with every 5th weekend off.

• Greet and assist patients families and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.

• Perform clerical duties including patient registration chart preparation data entry and record maintenance.

• Coordinate communication between physicians nurses and other healthcare staff.

• Schedule appointments tests and procedures as required.

• Answer telephones respond to inquiries and relay messages accurately.

• Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

• Maintain office supplies and support departmental organization.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
