What Youll Be Doing

You will be joining the CIBCs Business Banking CAM Contact Centre Technology (BCCT) team as a Sr. Scrum Master where you will advocate the Scrum process model agile behaviors and help bring a product vision to life in cooperation with the product owner and development team. Using your skills in conflict resolution and continuous improvement youll navigate your projects beyond barriers to enable team success as well as use your expertise in project management & agile methodology to make recommendations for continuous improvements in all project deliverables.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.

How Youll Succeed

• Agile Expertise Be the expert in scrum methodology. Facilitate a range of scrum activities including Sprint Daily Scrums Retrospective Meetings and Backlog Refinement. Actively promote agile and scrum methodology across the business to enable quick effective and meaningful transformation.
• Collaboration Work closely with development teams and product owners to discover and implement scrum best practices. Communicate key updates to stakeholders and balance their demands as needed. Collaborate with Agile Coaches to ensure there is alignment with the Agile Delivery Framework and provide feedback on an ongoing basis.
• Coaching Leverage your expertise to educate individuals and teams about agile and scrum methodologies. Coach development teams to implement scrum practices to drive change. Ensure your team is on track to deliver on project objectives by coaching the development team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
