Assignment Length: 12 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Varying start times 11:00 AM 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70.00 $75.00 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Recovery Room (PACU) assignment. The RN will provide high-quality post-anesthesia patient care using the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation. This role requires strong clinical judgment attention to patient safety and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate complete and timely patient documentation
Perform ongoing physical psychological and social assessments including discharge planning
Communicate and coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Function in a charge nurse role as assigned
Utilize computerized nursing and documentation systems effectively
Support staff orientation education and serve as a clinical resource
Participate in unit meetings mandatory education and quality improvement activities
Assist with quality monitoring and evaluation of patient care outcomes
Adhere to hospital safety policies including blood and body fluid precautions
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Deliver consistent service excellence to patients families visitors and staff
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications
Successful completion of hospital pharmacology and basic arrhythmia programs (or challenge exams)
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator care
Minimum one (1) year of recent experience (within the last five years) in ICU CVICU CVPA ER SDC or PACU
