Role Definition

Performs maintenance of equipment while ensuring safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Communicating major issues in equipment performance and maintenance to the managers; Supporting the team in implementing robust solutions to improve overall efficiency yield and uptime of the equipment.

Complying with safety health and environmental guidelines and participating in continuous improvement of the procedures while performing equipment maintenance.

Inspecting machinery and equipment to identify problems and potential solutions and performing appropriate troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures.

Tracking work orders spare parts and maintenance parts consumption and scheduled preventive maintenance procedures using Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Skill Descriptors

5S Housekeeping: Knowledge of 5S Housekeeping concepts; ability to design implement and sustain 5S housekeeping strategies to ensure standardization of workplace operations.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Mechanical/Machinery: Knowledge of machines and tools; ability to use knowledge of machinery or mechanical objects including their designs uses repair and maintenance.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches tools and techniques; ability to anticipate recognize and resolve technical issues on hardware software application or operation.

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles methods and processes; ability to maximize machinery effectiveness through active involvement of all supporting departments.
