Itron a technology leader in the energy and smart grid sector is seeking an Intern Software Engineer to join our motivated and talented Distributed Intelligence team. You will become a key contributor in implementation of next generation distributed intelligence applications which will enable our customerssolvecomplex grid operations use cases.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with serverand embedded developers toimprove Outcomes software
Develop and execute manual and automated functional test cases
Log detailed defect records for engineering including step-by-step instructions to recreate the fault
Communicate progress effectively in writing and orally with both local/remote sites
Required Skills & Experience
At least two years of undergraduate study in Computer Science Engineering or Mathematicsor related field
Intermediate experience with C# C or Python programming languages in a Linux environment
Knowledge of SQL server
Professional oral and written communication abilities
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience working in energy or networking domains
PreviousAMI EV or Analytics solutions validation experience preferred
