Software Development Engineer, AWS Partnerships

APN offerings include validating partner qualifications in distinct areas lead/opportunity sharing training and certifications marketing assistance funding reimbursement et al. The AWS Partner Systems team is responsible for external and internal supporting Partner Sales the APN and other elements driving the AWS partner ecosystem. We serve three groups of stakeholders: partners who work with us to sell AWS customers who use AWS and internal users responsible for driving AWS sales and adoption via partners.

Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

AWS Partner Systems is looking for a results-oriented self-driven Development who can help us create the next generation of distributed scalable systems that support AWS current and future business this role you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment relish working with high volume of data the challenge of highly complex business contexts that are typically being defined in real-time. You will design and develop services that processes millions of transactions in secured environment.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help the team take Marketplace to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from the front end user experience to a set of robust platform services to system level pieces and everything in between. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software is customer-centric and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence. A commitment to team work hustle and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of success delivering new features or products. Has strong and implementation experience strong knowledge of web services and protocols and an in-depth knowledge of systems architectures. Experience with asynchronous workflow big-data and AWS technologies is a plus.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
