Inside Sales Representative

Location: Graniteville VT

Position Status: Immediately /full time

Rock of Ages a division of Polycor is looking for a highly motivated results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Director of North American Memorial Sales this position offers a clear development path into Outside Sales.

The successful candidate will begin in an inside sales role to build a strong foundation in our products customers estimating tools and sales processes before gradually transitioning into a field-based role with increased direct customer engagement. Initially this position is office-based to provide hands-on training and close collaboration with the sales and operations teams.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Support U.S. customers with quotations pricing and product guidance.
• Learn the full product portfolio applications and estimating tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate orders and submit them to the order entry team.
• Resolve discrepancies prior to submission to ensure efficient processing.
• Work closely with Outside Sales Operations Customer Service and Order Entry teams.
• Gradually build customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Participate in customer visits and required trade shows as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested directed or assigned.

This individual thrives in a collaborative environment while remaining accountable for performance and results.

Requirements & Technical Skills:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to learn technical product and estimating information.
• Sales experience in the granite or memorial industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook Teams PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM systems is an asset (e.g. Salesforce).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% during the initial phase with increased travel as responsibilities expand.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule as responsibilities expand.
