We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to be a Mobile Equipment Operator/Driver of our Mobile Unit! This position is part-time and will be responsible for driving our mobile unit to outreach clinics and other special events throughout our five-parish region as needed. A valid unrestricted drivers license and a clean driving history is required.
This position is ideal for someone living that retirement life and looking for some occasional/flexible work or maybe someone who has another job and is looking for something extra to supplement their income. The schedule is on an as-needed basis (typically only 2-3 times per month). If this sounds like a good fit for you wed love to hear from you!

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Drive and maintain the mobile medical unit and assure all of its systems equipment and supplies are in good working order;
- Transport the Mobile Unit to various locations on schedule as required;
- Assist with setup for events including clinics outreach events and any other type of event the agency deems necessary;
- Assist with registration and/or intake of individuals or clients;
- Sweep the Mobile Unit interior disinfect cabinet handles and surfaces and clean exterior of the unit as needed;
- Maintain the dry flush toilet as needed.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position is for a part-time WAE (When Actually Employed) position only and is not to exceed 1245 hours in a 12-month period.
Work Hours:There are no set hours for this position but most work hours will fall between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. on weekdays. There may be special events during evening hours or on weekends in which the MU Driver may be needed.
Compensation:Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicants level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range for the position:- Mobile Equipment Operator 1: $16.06/hour minimum - $28.90/hour maximum
