Job Summary
Responsible for the development implementation and coordination of a comprehensive community relationship-building plan for District-wide HCC support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and manage the annual District-wide Community Relations Plan in alignment with College goals while coordinating and leading communication strategies and campaigns through collaborative dotted-line relationships with college-level Communications Services Directors.
Establish and maintain corporate partnerships and community outreach initiatives in collaboration with College Workforce Program Directors and other internal and external stakeholders.
Plan coordinate and oversee District-wide special events including groundbreakings facility openings banquets and other significant College events.
Serve as campaign manager for major communication initiatives overseeing planning execution delivery and performance measurement.
Collaborate on internal and external communications materials to clearly and effectively convey College initiatives priorities and messaging.
Launch collaborate and oversee a community leadership forum that engages regularly with the HCC Executive Team to strengthen relationships with business and community leaders.
Compile and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decision-making and improve reporting consistency.
Serve as the special projects coordinator managing initiatives from conception through completion to ensure objectives timelines and deliverables are achieved.
Supervise communications and marketing interns ensuring effective support for departmental initiatives and campaigns.
Perform other duties tasks and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in a communications discipline such as Journalism Public Relations or related field required
5 years work experience in Public Relations or Communications required
Higher education experience preferred

General Office.
