Work Shift:
Mon-Thur 4 ten hour shifts
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assist in the performance of other duties. Employee promotes service excellence. Provides direct supervision and oversight to the operation of services and staff in the Ultrasound Department. Is a key member of the Imaging Department leadership team. Responsibilities are to maintain productivity radiographic technical analysis oversight and/or support duties in the areas of diagnostic procedures performed in Imaging Services. Uses independent judgment operates and is accountable for sophisticated expensive computerized radiographic and monitoring equipment. Provides quality patient care in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment with primarily high-risk and critically ill patients of all ages. This position functions in a highly specialized and unique area and must be available to participate in the on-call rotation covering weekends holidays and various weekdays
Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
B. Experience:
None
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current ARDMS or ARRT registration. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
D. Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Employee should be able to utilize a variety of standard ultrasound equipment and supplies. Able to utilize office equipment and supplies.
