QUALIFICATIONS:
(A.) High School Diploma with 5 or more years work experience in providing clerical
support to administrators for construction plant management or maintenance of a large
facility.
(B.) LDAF Pesticide Applicator Certified
(C.) Capable and willing to be LDEQ Certified Asbestos Contractor Supervisor
(D) Capable and willing to be DHH certified Waste Water Treatment I & Waste Water Collection I
REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Facilities
SUPERVISES: Secretary
SALARY SCHEDULE: Maintenance Office Manager Salary Schedule
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
I. To assist by providing clerical and support duties to the Project Manager and Coordinator of Facilities;
II. To assist in devising scopes of work on small projects informally quote same and provide documented result to designated committee for award;
III. To act as liaison between district and governmental regulators and maintain Asbestos Management Plan and work order records;
IV. To provide and document mandatory Six-Month Surveillance of ACM and annual IPM Plan;
V. To assist in working with upper administrators and principals requests for maintaining schools;
VI. To assist in working with preventative and planned maintenance;
VII. To assist in the inspection quality of work by maintenance crew and contractors;
VIII. To assist with providing maintenance and environmental information to custodial staffs on building level problems;
IX. To perform other responsibilities as directed by the Coordinator of Facilities Project Manager Supervisor of Physical Plant Executive Superintendent of Administration and or the Superintendent;
X. To assist in scheduling and supervising maintenance workers in repair installations maintenance and alteration of buildings and physical plants;
XI. To assist in reviewing and scheduling work orders and maintenance requests for all crafts and balance resource requirements with resource availability;
XII. To assist in scheduling and supervising preventive maintenance on buildings and facilities;
XIII. To respond to school district emergencies after hours and/or weekends;
XIV. To prepare monthly report on facility maintenance and construction;
