Counsels and provides partnership to employees and all levels of management across the full spectrum of employee relations matters in alignment with our practices policies and local labor legislation.
This work includes proactive workplace initiatives and strategies; workplace investigations and internal reviews; performance improvement and discipline processes; end of employment/restructuring; labor relations; crisis management; and general employee relations coaching and conflict resolution.
Develops and leads proactive employee and labor relations strategies to contribute to a positive work environment by leveraging data addressing areas of opportunity and minimizing risk.
Plays key leadership role in restructuring initiatives resulting in employee transitions.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Provide insights from ER cases to inform strategic HR decisions and workforce planning.
Assist in change management activities and contribute to aligning ER strategies with broader business objectives
Supports the Senior HRBP with various HR activities and project work to enable successful delivery of our HR strategic priorities and EVP
Handling grievances investigating workplace issues mediating disputes and ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies
Support the performance management process not only limited to performance improvement plan
Organizational Impact:May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area. Contributes to the completion of work group objectives through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.
Partnering with HRBP: Support HRBP through talent management and talent development of employees. Also partner with HRBP for employee engagement and leading workgroups
Innovation and Complexity:Problems and issues faced are difficult and may require understanding of multiple issues job areas or specialties. Makes improvements of processes systems or products to enhance performance of the job area. Analysis provided is in-depth in nature and often provides recommendations on process improvements.
Communication and Influence:Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors. Exchange information of facts statuses ideas and issues to achieve objective and influence decision-making.
Leadership and Talent Management:May provide guidance coaching and training to other employees within job area. May manage projects requiring delegation of work and review of others work product.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Mastery of employee and labor relations with full knowledge of industry practices and law of the land
Basic understanding of HR Business Partnering principles.
