We are working with a primary school in Brent recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with at least 2 years of school-based experience to take ownership of a modern purpose-built site.
The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day security maintenance and safety of the school premises. The role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently to manage a diverse workload from statutory compliance checks to general repairs. Key responsibilities include:
Acting as a primary key holder for the daily opening and securing of the site
Managing the schools planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule
Identifying and resolving building defects including plumbing and carpentry repairs
Supervising external contractors and ensuring work is completed to school standards
Conducting health and safety inspections and maintaining the site risk log

What the School Is Looking For
Minimum of 2 years experience in a school caretaking or site maintenance role
