Job Summary
We are working with an Outstanding secondary academy in Doncaster recruiting for a Music Teacher. This role is ideal for an individual who can balance high-level academic teaching with a vibrant extracurricular offer.
The Role You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 utilizing the schools modern Mac suite for composition. The role involves delivering a diverse curriculum and encouraging students of all backgrounds to engage with musical performance. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering Music lessons that cover performance composition and appraisal
Teaching GCSE Music using Sibelius and Logic software
Leading school choirs or bands and coordinating seasonal concerts
Managing peripatetic schedules and instrumental lesson attendance
Contributing to the schools performing arts showcase events
