Account Manager
Location: York (North Yorkshire)
Salary: 28000 uncapped commission (OTE 35000 year one) profit share
Hours: MonThurs 8:15am5:00pm Fri 8:15am4:00pm
Contract: Permanent full-time
On-site parking: Yes (driving essential no public transport routes)

- Teams calls customer presentations and proactive customer engagement

The Role
As an Account Manager you will manage your own portfolio of customers acting as the main point of contact and delivering a high-quality service from enquiry through to order completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Generating new business through outbound calling and prospecting
- Building trusted long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Sourcing products and solutions using advanced procurement systems
- Negotiating pricing and delivery terms
- Quoting customers and converting enquiries into orders
- Managing the full order process end-to-end including supplier chasing and delivery tracking
- Maintaining accurate CRM notes and customer activity updates
- Handling complaints/returns professionally with the support of senior colleagues
- Taking part in regular Teams calls with customers (supported by sales leadership)
