Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Penbridge School

We are seeking a dedicatedLevel 3 Nursery Practitionerto join our Brand NewLittle Thinkers Nurseryteam at Penbridge Infant School inPortsmouth.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children parents and colleagues and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting childrens growth and development.

Fluency in English both written and spoken is essential along with a relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Key Skills:

• Foster a safe nurturing and engaging environment for children and plan and deliver age-appropriate activities supporting development.
• Supervise and interact with children throughout daily routines monitor and assess individual progress identifying developmental needs.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards
• Able to be flexible in working in different spaces. Team members may occasionally be asked to work or cover in other settings.
