We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman with strong skills in Autodesk Inventor SolidWorks and Advanced Steel to join our engineering and detailing team. The successful candidate will produce accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings for mechanical and structural steel projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman with strong skills in Autodesk Inventor SolidWorks and Advanced Steel to join our engineering and detailing team. The successful candidate will produce accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings for mechanical and structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Inventor SolidWorks and Advanced Steel
Produce fabrication workshop and erection drawings
Develop models for structural steel and mechanical components
Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and material take-offs
Coordinate drawings with engineers fabricators and project teams
Revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications

Requirements

Relevant qualification in draughting mechanical or structural engineering
Proven experience using Inventor SolidWorks and Advanced Steel
Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering calculations and specifications
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
