What Youll Do
- Lead and Develop Your Team: Build an engaged high-performing team. Coach mentor and create development plans to support career growth and cross-training opportunities.
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee fulfillment activities to meet customer demand with accuracy and timeliness. Communicate effectively with team members and support functions on production materials quality and delivery.
- Drive Performance: Achieve key metrics for safety quality on-time delivery inventory and productivity. Ensure accountability through daily management practices.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Apply lean principles and Fortive Business System (FBS) tools to identify opportunities eliminate waste and implement best practices. Lead Kaizen activities and engage the team in problem-solving.
- Ensure Compliance and Standards: Maintain adherence to standard work playbooks and lean principles. Oversee TPM activities and sustain a clean organized 5S environment.
- Communicate and Collaborate: Provide clear transparent communication across teams and departments to resolve issues and align priorities.
- Support Technical Operations: Step in as a fulfillment technician when needed and ensure technical proficiency across the team.
- Foster a Positive Culture: Listen actively address concerns and promote trust respect and collaboration within the team.
What You Bring
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities; adaptable to changing priorities.
- Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change effectively.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of performance metrics and operational KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related tools.
- Experience with Oracle eBS Salesforce Inet or ERP systems.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Technical Competencies:
- Understanding of Industrial Scientific products and applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.
