Job Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations while providing accounting and financial support to ensure efficient business functioning. This role combines administrative leadership financial recordkeeping and coordination across departments to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
- Perform basic to intermediate accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and asset management.
- Process invoices expense reports and reimbursements accurately and timely
- Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support monthly quarterly and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies accounting procedures and applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial and employee records
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
Office Management & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment
- Manage vendors service contracts and suppliers
- Coordinate administrative processes scheduling and internal communications
- Support management with reports correspondence and documentation
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or a related field preferred
- 8 years of experience in office management accounting or administrative roles
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
- Office-based position with standard business hours
- Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit stand and use office equipment for extended periods
