The Tippie College of Business seeks candidates for an Academic Advisor in their Undergraduate Program Office. The position is responsible for advising undergraduate business students on issues including four-year degree planning major selection and academic and professional goals in addition to participating in the administration of programs policies and procedures related the College and University. Responsibilities will require occasional time outside the 8:00 am to 5:00 pm workday to support student activities and events such as commencement. This position is eligible to work one day from home.

Job Duties and Tasks
This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy work arrangements will be reviewed annually and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
Salary: $44000-$47000

Education Requirement
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
Experience typically 1-2 years in direct student contact at the undergraduate level.
Experience and ability to foster a welcoming and respectful environment for student success.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated constructive and collaborative relationship building skills with a variety of individuals and groups including peers leadership and external constituents.
Desired Qualifications
A Masters degree.
