Entry Level Quality Inspector

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Entry Level Quality Inspector to join our team in Wichita KS.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conducts dimensional and visual inspections

• Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number lot number accuracy and test requirements

• Conduct visual Inspections for obvious defects.

• Scanning of certifications packing slips test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received

• Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Standards. Disposition and control on non-conforming products.

• Assist in internal customer and third-party audits. Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.

• Assist with the on-hold process.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 0 - 1year of related work experience

• Familiar with the use of Calipers ring/pin gages comparator and other inspection tooling

• Knowledge and understanding of traceability

• Fluent in English reading writing and verbal communication

• Detailed oriented well organized self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers

• Strong analytical organizational and troubleshooting skills

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Previous aerospace inspection experience

• Ability to read blueprints

• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

• Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts

• DFAR Experience
