Your role

Within FM the Client Execution Services (CES) department is a centralized brokerage desk responsible for the execution of client related flow in Equities ETFs Bonds and Derivatives on global Financial Markets. The client base are the ING Retail Banks Private Banking Wealth Management as well as ING Corporate and FM trading desks. As a gateway to the global markets CES has a crucial role in the first line of defence and monitoring of any form of market abuse.

You will be the link between our clients and the markets externally and between IT Development and Operations internally.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execution of client orders
  • Improve current processes and explore new initiatives individually or in projects
  • Monitoring the order flow to prevent any form of Market Abuse or market disruption
  • Comply with the rules and regulation of ING the Financial Markets and local regulators
  • Assuring a high execution quality following policies and guidelines where finding the best price venues and liquidity is required
  • Acting as a sparring partner for the clients regarding markets product specifications and trading strategies
  • Maintain relationships with clients regulatory departments exchanges brokers/counterparties and operational teams

As an Execution Trader you need to have or to be:

  • Analytical (data) skills
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial drive
  • A degree in a financial or technical study
  • Eager to learn and share knowledge with colleagues
  • An empathic team player with excellent communication skills
  • Professional or personal experience with Equity and Fixed Income products
  • Passion for financial markets showing from your study or personal experience
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing an additional European language is considered a plus
  • Ability to work independently multitasking on various transactions/projects and prioritizing resources accordingly
