About the role:

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help build run and test aself-hostedidentity product.We are looking for engineers who are passionate about understanding complex problems designing tests around them and evaluating their performance and functionality across many environments.You would be integral in continuing to build this product in a supportive and agile environment where there are a lot of opportunities to tackle some interesting problems and solutions while serving a critical and visible role.

You will:

• Have5yearsof software testing experience preferably having testedself-hostedsoftware.

• Developtest plans andexecutetests that exercise and characterize critical areas of functionality.

• Setup test environmentsincluding installationand deployment ofself-hosted softwarerequiring familiarity with application servers and databases.

• Collaborate with peers and across teams on designs code reviews and testing.

• Evaluate enhancements or fixes and proactively test their correctness and functionality.

• Participatein grooming sessionstodesignanddevelopSailPoints self-hosted software tosolve customerchallengeswhileimprovingend-to-end reliabilityand maintainability.

• Be responsible forverifying the quality of features added or enhanced within the platform solutions acting as a customer advocate to ensure that SailPoint offerings are well-designed and easy to use.

• Work with other QAEngineersto learn best practices for how to test SailPoint products.

• Have excellentEnglishcommunication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Experience testingself-hostedapplications.

• Experience working with a distributed team.
