    EDUCATION
    Associates degree from an accredited college. Four (4) years of directly related experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

    EXPERIENCE
    Two (2) years of relevant experience in admissions testing recruitment and retention counseling or other related student service activities.

    Experience working with a diverse population.

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    Ability to establish and maintain relationships with community agencies and social services to identify recruitment opportunities

    Bilingual is an important PLUS

    Willing to work flexible hours including week-ends and evenings

    Ability to work on a team with diverse individuals

    Must be a self-starter and problem solver

    Possess ability to handle multiple tasks at once

    Excellent time management skills required

    Knowledge of the greater Houston area and familiarity with the service area school districts universities and colleges preferred
