Description of the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care team at University Home Care in Detroit MI. The RN Home Care role involves providing quality in-home care to patients in need of medical assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
- Document patient care and progress accurately
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
- Prior Kinnser experience
- Prior experience in home care or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Compassionate and patient-centered care approach
