Overview
Are you a passionate Fullstack Product Engineer looking to make a real impact We are seeking a talented individual to design build and own client-facing web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities
As a Fullstack Product Engineer you will:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives gathering feedback to inform product development.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from ideation to deployment ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Partner with Product and User Experience teams to build roadmaps and deliver functionality in rapid targeted iterations.
- Drive technical architecture and solution design for scalable and efficient systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to provide technical expertise and production support to customers.
- Plan and manage the delivery of on-premises and cloud-deployed products upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with the Platform team.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A strong background in building web applications using User-Centered Design principles.
- Expertise in system design with the ability to architect scalable and efficient front-to-back solutions.
- A proven track record of taking full ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
- A curious mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and solve complex problems.
- Experience working directly with clients/customers to shape product and technical decisions.
- A collaborative approach enjoying teamwork and knowledge sharing to achieve the best results.
- A willingness to give and receive feedback in an open and constructive manner.
Desired Technical Experience:
- Backend: Proficiency in Java Expertise in modern frameworks primarily React and TypeScript.
- Infrastructure: Experience with modern cloud systems like AWS or Azure.
- Relational databases: Hands-on experience with systems like Postgres or Oracle.
- RESTful APIs: Proven experience in designing and building them.
- Bonus: Practical experience with functional programming languages (e.g. Clojure Haskell).
Day-to-day
Your day-to-day will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Breaking down complex problems into manageable iterative components.
- Writing clean efficient and scalable code for both frontend and backend systems.
- Engaging with clients to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met.
- Participating in code reviews and providing mentorship to team members.
- Continuously improving our tech stack and development processes.
