Job Summary
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years experience in HV / OHL / traction power system maintenance of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a professional institution in a related discipline Grade C or H Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 are preferred
- Sound knowledge of operation and maintenance of railway supply equipment is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Remarks
- Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
- Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of supervisors and technical staff to manage maintenance service recovery and renewal & modification works of high voltage (HV) / overhead line (OHL) / traction power systems up to and including 25kV / 1500V / 750V traction 33kV / 11kV /3.3kV three-phase AC power supply systems as well as low voltage distribution and trackside auxiliary equipment
- Monitor the performance of contractors and coordinate with different stakeholders for smooth implementation of maintenance works and performance
- Resolve technical problems and conduct technical investigation / analysis
- Perform testing and commissioning review technology application and formulate maintenance strategies and work instructions / standards
- Manage budget tender evaluation and contract administration
- Supervise the overhaul maintenance and condition-based monitoring works manage the progress of modification projects as well as implement asset management activities for assurance purpose
- Co-ordinate with other departments on user requirements and design / procurement issues to ensure smooth execution of maintenance works
