About the Role:
The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Baird Family Wealth Team engages with advisors to provide solutions for complex higher net worth clients and prospects particularly private business owners as they plan for transitions and families of legacy wealth.
The Baird Family Wealth Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Baird Family Wealth Team by providing exceptional administrative and organizational expertise. This position ensures seamless coordination of meetings events and projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and contributing to the success of strategic initiatives that enhance advisor engagement and client service.
The Impact Youll Make:
- Schedule and organize committee meetings regional events and workshops.
- Prepare agendas supporting materials and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Document and distribute meeting summaries to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records of activities calls and project timelines.
- Manage calendars and logistics for Directors and team initiatives.
- Leverage the full suite of Baird technologies to efficiently manage business and meet compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Assist in creating and distributing resources and presentations for advisors.
- Support Directors with reports and materials for consulting engagements.
- Ensure consistency and professionalism in all communications.
- Stay current on and understand firm and industry policy and procedures in an ever-changing regulatory environment.
- Track progress on strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align resources and deliverables.
- Create/maintain/organize electronic files to provide team-level immediate access and retrieval.
- Act as a liaison between advisors and the Family Wealth Team to facilitate requests on topics of training policy and technology best practices and efficiency.
- Coordinate onboarding and certification processes for BFW teams.
- Provide administrative assistance for advisor coaching and growth programs.
What Youll Bring to Baird:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel Powerpoint Microsoft Teams and CoPilot.
- Prior experience in wealth management or financial services preferred.
