About the Role:
Are you an Automation Architect with the soul of a Developer A DevOps enthusiast who codes with purpose and tests with passion Ready to bring your masterful automation coding and creative problem-solving skills to one of North Americas top 10 largest banks by asset capitalization. We are on the hunt for a Software Developer in Test (SDET) not just any SDET but a tech-savvy wizard who thrives at the intersection of automated testing continuous delivery and code craftsmanship.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for Banking and Payments applications to ensure high quality and regulatory compliance.

.Perform API automation testing using REST Assured for payment services transaction processing and integration layers.

.Create and execute mock services and validate service behavior using REST Assured for isolated and reliable testing.

.Analyze banking and payment workflows including fund transfers settlements reconciliations and transaction life cycles.

.Develop and maintain UI automation test scripts using Java Selenium Cucumber (BDD) to validate end-to-end user journeys.

.Collaborate with business analysts developers and product teams to understand banking domain requirements and convert them into test scenarios.

.Execute data validation and backend verification by writing complex SQL queries to ensure accuracy of transactional data.

.Identify log and track defects while performing root cause analysis for issues in payment systems.

.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.

.Ensure adherence to testing best practices quality standards and banking compliance requirements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have Skills:
. 3 to 8 years of hands-on Banking-Payments experience
. 3 to 8 years of hands-on REST Assured API Automation experience
. Hands-on experience on Rest Assured -Mocking / Services
. 2 to 5 years of experience in Banking domain
. Hands-on experience UI Automation BBD Cucumber Java Selenium
. Hands-on SQL experience in data validation & verification using SQL
