Job Summary

Role:

The individual is part of the electrical team excelling in electronics and electrical engineering. This role contributes to electrical control panel design power electronics circuit design and battery-powered applications. The specialization lies in electrical integration. This role typically collaborates on projects with teammates across multiple disciplines and is expected to maintain high levels of interaction as needed. This role is expected to deliver work conscientiously meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

Responsibilities:

Conduct feasibility studies at the early stages of the project.
Derive electrical engineering specifications from customers requirements
Selection and integration of IOT and power management components
Design electrical circuits panels harnesses and looms
Generate build/rework instructions for the production team and resolve production issues
Create and execute tests for electrical systems
Perform troubleshooting for electrical systems
Create BOM for electrical designs

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Solid understanding of electronic design principles including analog/digital circuits and power electronics.
Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout software such as Mentor Graphics and Altium
Experience in EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures for PCB layout
Understanding of DFM DFA and DFT.
Experience in managing prototype build from BOM creation to build change requests
