We are looking for a team player to take up the role as a Business Development & Market Analyst to be the focal point and driver for market research and business intelligence in the region.
As part of the APAC Sales Team you will have the opportunity to design build and implement a sales and marketing platform aimed at optimizing sales activities and generating business growth opportunities. Through this you will also be able to learn and improve our sales processes and have cross-functional engagement with customers as well as our facilities around the world. The opportunity
Working from our office in Singapore you will work closely together with the Sales Directors by providing them with up-to-date market intelligence and competitor knowledge to allow them to drive business and sales with confidence. You will also ensure smooth and efficient running of the APAC sales operations and will be involved in day-to-day customer support activities.
The primary tasks will include not limited to:
- Lead the design and implementation of a CRM database that includes market and competitor data and analysis.
- Identify market gaps customer fleet transition and/or renewal opportunities and quick-win sales opportunities.
- Provide insights to the Sales Team on market updates coupled with the latest market intelligence analysis.
- Aligning with Sales Directors on sales strategies.
- Management of day-to-day sales operations activities.
- Lead initiatives to optimize internal sales processes.
- Reporting to the APAC Head of Sales as required.
- Occasional business travel to support Sales Directors.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a Business Development & Market Analyst who is aligned with the description below:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the aviation sector. Having prior experience and connection with airlines and MROs is an advantage.
- Educational background within IT business economics or technical discipline.
- Experience in designing implementing and maintaining CRM-like tools and systems.
- Proven ability in utilising AI tools to drive data consolidation.
- Expert level in MS Excel and Power BI.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to be innovative and creative yet with a clear commitment towards quality and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic and high-functioning team.
