Job Summary

The OpportunityCovering a 12-month period of parental leave we are looking for a new team leader for our Hammersmith based finance team. The role will include management of a team of three working in transactional finance to ensure that supplier and guest payments and refunds are efficiently managed and will also involve a number of reporting responsibilities to the Group Head of Finance and external responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):Transactional FinanceManage a team of 3 finance apprentices including allocation of workloads and monitoring of ticketsBe a point of escalation for the sales team/suppliers where requiredContinue to look for areas to streamline processesLedger management (including accruals debtors and banks) and month end commission reportingOversight of reconciliation processes such as CMR recs Year-end External ReportingSupporting the (HoF) in liaising with the auditors for the year end audit in the UKManaging the delivery of samples by the AP team for the auditors ManagementConstruct clear career development plans for each team member and support through coaching training and reviewConduct biannual appraisals and more regular informal feedback meetings Overseas EntitiesWork closely with the US to ensure sufficient transactional support remains in place dispute time zone difficulties Other Office DutiesReview payment runsSupport the wider finance team as requiredWork across departments where required to ensure processes are as efficient as possibleAny other adhoc tasks as requiredAbout YouYou will thrive in this role if you are a natural leader who excels at mentoring and coaching this is particularly important as youll be overseeing and mentoring a team of addition you will also be: AAT qualified bringing technical credibility and practical expertise to share with your teamHighly organized exceptional at managing time and priorities without compromising qualitySystems-savvy with a strong understanding of accounting systemsA team player skilled at building relationships and collaborating across departmentsValues & Behaviours All employees must promote understand and apply Scott Dunns workplace values.
