We offer the opportunity to join Nilfisk as our new Global Indirect Strategic Sourcing Associate (Buying Desk) in a growing team where you will participate in managing the daytoday operations of the procurement process and can acquire great skills and experience within the realm of Sourcing and Procurement operations.
This role involves handling purchase orders coordinating with vendors ensuring compliance with organizational policies and providing support to internal stakeholders. It also requires close cooperation with Category Managers within Indirect Sourcing and supports their activities such as contract lifecycle management.

The Team
Become a part of a growing team (currently 8 people planned growth to 10 over the course of 2026) based in Budapest and Copenhagen. You will be part of the Global Indirect Procurement team reporting to the Global Head of Indirect Procurement.

What you will do
Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders (POs) within established timelines.
Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage the endtoend lifecycle of POs including approvals amendments and closures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers to address queries resolve issues and manage order fulfillment.
Maintain uptodate vendor records including contact details contracts and performance metrics.
Facilitate vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with company standards.
Work closely with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies and procedures.
Coordinate with finance and accounts payable teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities including contracts and POs.
Contribute to keeping procurement documentation up to date.
Analyze procurement data to provide insights on spending trends and suggest improvements.
