Role Overview
The Project Manager Proprietary Channel plays a critical role in driving business and people outcomes by leading cross-functional projects managing large-scale data and dashboards and delivering strategic insights to leadership. The role acts as a bridge between HR Distribution Sales Leadership and Business Analytics ensuring that data-driven interventions improve productivity retention hiring quality and overall channel effectiveness.
The incumbent owns end-to-end project execution across the PROP channel including problem diagnosis solution design implementation tracking and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
Lead multiple high-impact projects across the Proprietary Channel related to:
Attrition reduction and early tenure stabilization
Advisor ecosystem strengthening (recruitment activation productivity)
Performance improvement initiatives (PEP low performer management)
Hiring effectiveness and right-fit hiring interventions
Own the complete project lifecycle:
Problem identification and hypothesis framing
Data analysis and insight generation
Stakeholder alignment and solution design
Implementation tracking and governance
Outcome measurement and course correction
Drive structured interventions in collaboration with:
Zone and Branch leadership
HR Business Partners and RHRs
Sales and Distribution Heads
2. Dashboard Ownership & Data Management
Design develop and maintain multiple dashboards for the PROP channel covering:
Attrition (overall early tenure cohort-wise performance-linked)
Hiring metrics and hiring quality indicators
Advisor lifecycle metrics (MRA creation licensing activation productivity)
Performance distribution and productivity spread
PEP disciplinary cases and behavioral indicators
Manage large multi-source datasets ensuring:
Data accuracy consistency and governance
Periodic refreshes and version control
Clear definitions and metric standardization
Translate raw HR and sales data into clear decision-ready views for leadership consumption.
3. Data Analysis & Insight Generation
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify:
Root causes of attrition (early vs tenured performance vs disciplinary)
Correlation between hiring quality advisor ecosystem strength and performance
Behavioral and people drivers impacting productivity
Build cohort-based and tenure-based analyses to highlight:
Convert complex datasets into simple actionable insights supported by data narratives.
4. Leadership Communication & Business Storytelling
Create structured insight-driven presentations for:
Senior leadership reviews
Business and HR governance forums
Project updates and intervention reviews
Present data in a storytelling format clearly articulating:
Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and quick turnaround insights for strategic decision-making.
5. Stakeholder Management & Governance
Act as a single point of contact for PROP channel analytics and project updates.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to:
Drive accountability on action items
Track intervention progress
Escalate risks and delays proactively
Establish review mechanisms and cadence for ongoing initiatives.
6. Process Improvement & Capability Building
Identify gaps in existing processes related to:
Hiring
Performance monitoring
Advisor management
People governance
Recommend and help implement improvements using data-backed insights.
