CVOR Surgical Technologist III (Tier 3)
Location: Kansas City MO 64132
Position Type: Full-Time Day Shift Rotating Weekends
On-Call: Required (must reside within 30 minutes of the facility)
Compensation & Differentials

Shift & Call Differentials:
Nights: $3.00/hour
Weekends: $3.00/hour
On-Call Pay: $3.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $25000

Role Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a senior-level CVOR Surgical Technologist (Tech III) to support high-acuity cardiovascular and open-heart procedures within a large tertiary acute-care environment.
This Tier 3 role is designed for an experienced CVOR professional who functions as a clinical expert lead scrub and informal mentor. The ideal candidate is trusted with complex high-risk cases and serves as a key clinical resource for surgeons and perioperative leadership.
Schedule & Call Expectations
Day shift with rotating weekends
40-hour work week
On-call participation required
Candidates must live within a 30-minute commute to meet call response requirements
Specific daily hours and call rotation details discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities
Serve as lead scrub for complex CVOR and open-heart procedures
Anticipate surgeon needs through advanced procedural knowledge and technical expertise
Manage surgical instruments supplies and equipment to ensure efficiency and sterility
Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and patient safety standards
Support first and second scrub roles including suctioning sponging retracting suturing assistance and camera manipulation
Act as a clinical resource and mentor to junior OR staff as needed
Provide care to adolescent adult and geriatric patient populations
Required Qualifications
This is a senior-level CVOR role. Please review carefully.
Minimum 1 year of CVOR and open-heart surgical technologist experience required
Strong preference for 7 years of CVOR and endovascular/hybrid OR experience
Demonstrated ability to function as lead technologist in the following service lines:
CVOR / Open Heart
Vascular Surgery
Burn
Neuro / Spine
Robotic Surgery
Total Joint Procedures
Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable high-volume acute-care facility
Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician program
