Overview of the role:
A vital role at the heart of Store Development primarily ensuring our Blue Yonder platform and associated systems and tools are performant and optimised to support the team delivering customer-led planograms and floorplans for our customers.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Merchandising the Systems Development Manager plays a key role in ensuring our key delivery platforms are fit for purpose with a focus on development opportunities across various legacy systems. Youll lead a small team who ensure the accurate and timely day-to-day running of Blue Yonder and associated tools to ensure our teams can deliver customer and category initiatives at pace and scale.
Lead a team driving for continuous system and associated process improvements across Store Development. Driving stretching development agendas including the exploration of a new ranging application.
Proactively identify and resolve data issues in the base data impacting ongoing space decisions.
Responsible for influencing IT and 3rd parties to ensure prioritisation of Blue Yonder issues and opportunities including Power BI reporting suite development.
Lead for collaboration across Store Development to create a balanced pipeline that addresses both legacy and forward-looking development opportunities.
What youll need to have:
A strong technical lead with significant Blue Yonder experience; able to engage and influence a diverse group of stakeholders across internal and external businesses.
Lead the team to deliver multiple development agendas which may well overlap and be running to different timescales. Keeping governance forums informed of progress and making them aware of any issues with mitigating actions to address.
The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with a variety of different senior stakeholders cross-functionally.
Able to embrace endorse and positively react to change; leading for resilience across the team.
Confident in expressing ideas opinions and solutions with a variety of senior stakeholders and the ability to listen and interpret the views of others
