About You:
This is a rare opportunity to join our award winning Kitchen Team at our Red Hill location venue as a Chef. As a Chef within our venues you will have varied responsibilities across delivering amazing food to managing process and people and motivating and driving the venue to success. This is a unique opportunity to take your food passion and knowledge to the next level and to work with the best in the industry in our food genre. We are looking for people with the following experience;
- At least 2 years leading fast paced high volume kitchens or production facilities.
- Qualifications that reflect your passion and excellence in the areas above.
- Experience in fast paced high volume kitchens
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to train junior staff
- Proven experience in supporting process that creates improvements
- Excellent communication skills attitude and be a team player
- Able to remain calm under pressure fostering a collaborative and productive team energy
- Capacity to negotiate varied demands and pressures through process and organisation.
- You are continually striving for excellence developing and perfecting it
About the opportunity:
We are looking for a driven Chef to be an integral part of our Kitchen team across venues and with varied focuses. The ideal candidate would have experience in planning running and maintaining all aspects of the back of house commercial operations specifically:
- Support the development of Southern style cuisine that are of the highest standard and further develop our reputation as a world-renowned BBQ brand.
- Leading diverse food operations from production catering events take away and fast paced kitchens.
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and contributing to financial and procedural reporting.
- Participate in leadership meetings that develop the BOH team strategically and logistically.
- Knowledge of Food Service Programs and HACCP preferred.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions as part of the broader Leadership Team.
- Running and delivery of day to day activities of the back of house operations
