Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To provide program assistance with the Nourishing Vocation Projects and the Conference on Worship Theology and the Arts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logistics and support for The Conference on Worship Theology and the Arts (CWTA)
- Prepare materials for the 2026 summer conference held July 20-22nd
- Prepare materials for the 2026 summer retreat held July 17-19th
- Provide on-site leadership for conference components including taking the lead on a specific portion of the conference yet to be assigned
- Aid in running smooth events including but not limited to assisting with registration housing and supporting breakout session facilitators
- Provide a warm welcome and support to conference participants
- Drive participants around campus (if golf cart driver qualifications are met)
- Assist with Conference advance-planning for the summer 2028 conference
- Advertising for The Conference on Worship Theology and the Arts (CWTA)
- Create social media posts marketing the conference
- Help maintain the CWTA website
- The Nourishing Vocation Projects
- Lutheran Center preplanning for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Grant-specific tasks dependent upon skill-set
- Website
- Create and refine Nourishing Vocation website layouts
- Update and maintain website
- Provide support for other projects as assigned
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Required:
- Current St. Olaf student returning next fall
- Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to complete work independently self-motivation and initiative
- Interest in the work of the Lutheran Center
- Ability to work 30-40 hours a week from late May/early June early August
- Ability to work 40 hours a week July 13-24 2026 in person at St. Olaf
- Technology skills relevant to the work requested
Preferred:
- Previous experience with Christian congregations
- Religious literacy
- Previous experience in web design
- Previous experience with Canva
- Current drivers license
