Project Engineers are central to the success of our custom projects owning the engineering and management process from concept through final delivery while ensuring projects stay on schedule within budget and aligned with customer expectations.
Manage overall project engineering and execution including scope scheduling profitability documentation and customer satisfaction
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects communicating with customers inspectors and internal teams
Review project scope and provide technical direction sizing and selection to drafting purchasing and production teams
Develop bills of materials construction notes and test procedures
Review and approve engineering design documents to ensure compliance with job requirements and scope
Organize and control project scope tracking cost and delivery impacts and communicating changes across departments
Assess workload and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
Perform technical sizing select sub-supplier components and prepare cost estimates against project budgets
Lead internal and external meetings both virtual and in-person
Write and facilitate test and inspection procedures to verify product performance
Control project costs through expenditure approvals and contract change management
Required:
Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word)
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex mechanical and electrical systems
Detail-oriented organized and capable of managing multiple priorities
Honest accountable and willing to ask questions and learn from challenges
